Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information attulsreenath.com collects, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Attul Sreenath (“I”, “me”). Questions about it can be sent to contact@attulsreenath.com.

Information you give me

• Contact form: your first name, email address, phone number and LinkedIn handle (both optional), the reason you are reaching out, and your message.
• Vault access requests: your name, email address, role and the purpose of your request.
• Newsletter: your email address.

This information is used only to reply to you, to review and manage access requests, and to send the newsletter you signed up for.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics: the site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how it is used: pages viewed, how you arrived, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It does not identify you personally.
• Hosting logs: the site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records technical details such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Embedded content: some case studies embed documents from Google Drive. These load from Google and are covered by Google’s own privacy policy, which may involve cookies.

How information is shared

Personal information is never sold or rented. It is shared only with the services that run this site and handle its forms, analytics and email on my behalf, and only as far as they need it for that purpose, or where the law requires it.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are analytics cookies from Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on. The site works fully without them.

How long information is kept

Enquiries and access requests are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information held about you, withdraw consent you have given (for example by unsubscribing from the newsletter), or nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to. Email contact@attulsreenath.com with your request or with any grievance about how your information is handled, and you will receive a response within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect personal information, and the site is served only over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however.

Children

This site is not intended for children, and personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
